THE SUN

EUROS 2020

The Sun audience loves football, so the delayed 2020 UEFA European Championship was something to shout about. Pulse created a 60-second TV spot (with 30 and 20-second executions) celebrating the nostalgia and inclusivity of the tournament, telling viewers that ‘Eur all invited’. We even worked with The Sun’s new columnist, Jose Mourinho, who found a new career as an editor.

As England progressed to the final of the tournament, Pulse showcased swift thinking by entering into an ad-battle with a Danish tabloid newspaper on the eve of the semi-finals and creating powerful OOH to support the team in the final. It may not quite have spurred them on to victory, but we’ll keep trying.
